In the provinces of Cuyo, the minimum temperatures will range between -4 and 3°C, and the maximum between 8 and 13°C. While in Patagonia, a large part of the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro, and Chubut will be registering values between -3 °C and -11 °C during the first hours of the day and between 3 °C and 11 °C during the afternoon. Although the cold air mass is expected to affect the entire region, the lowest values will occur over the plateau and mountain range.
Over the Pampas region, the persistence of low minimum and maximum temperatures are expected, even for this time of year. On average, the morning values will be between -4 and 0°C, while the afternoons will present temperatures between 8 and 12°C. A not minor detail is that this region is going to experience some wind from the southern sector, which when combined with these temperatures can cause the wind chill to be lower than the predicted temperature values.
The cold will also be felt in the northern provinces, but with higher values and will have less persistence. The temperatures for the first part of this week will be between 5 and 9°C during the mornings, and 12 to 17°C during the afternoons. Although these temperatures are not so low compared to those in the center and south of the country, it is important to note that they are between 3 and 5°C below the usual temperatures for the season.
