AquaFuture Spain closes its first edition exceeding 2,000 professional visitors

The 1st International Exhibition of the Aquaculture Industry, AquaFuture Spain, closed this Friday afternoon the doors of a first edition that has achieved great success at all levels, both in the participation of companies and entities, 152 from 23 countries, as well as of public, with more than 2,000 professional visitors.

As reported by the organization of AquaFuture Spain at the end of the show, the vast majority of exhibitors have assessed the fair very positively, highlighting that the profile of the visitors has led to interesting business meetings and confirming that they will be present again at the next appointment. . To this is added that there have been many companies in the sector that have visited the fair and have been interested in participating in the next edition, currently amounting to 24 these companies that have already provided their contact details to the organization in order to be present at the next AquaFuture Spain.

Objectives for 2023

The next edition will be in 2023 due to these good results since this has been demanded by both the exhibitors already present and these companies that have expressed their intention to be in the future. The objective of this celebration next year is for the event to grow significantly, due to these good expectations, and to consolidate itself, allowing Galicia and Spain to have an aquaculture fair that is known throughout the world. Once this second edition has been carried out, it will be assessed whether it continues to be annual or becomes biennial.

Among the objectives for this new edition, the organization, the company Ok Eventos, proposes that the event has in its exhibition area practically all of the most important companies in the aquaculture sector, in addition to a greater institutional presence and associations both from different Communities as well as from other countries. In addition, networking spaces will be created to also enable previously scheduled commercial work.

Balance of the 1st Edition

AquaFuture Spain’22 showed at the Silleda fairgrounds the latest in the aquaculture sector, with the presence of industrial supply companies, food, processing, professional equipment, hatcheries (hatchery), technology and development, software and computerization, producers, associations, public institutions, publications or training.

Added to this was a program of activities, which included round tables and presentations from 24 companies in the sector, as well as a culinary space in which the application of aquaculture products in the kitchen was shown through different show cookings.
