4. Photographic coincidence

A German mother who photographed her little son in 1914 took the film to reveal to a warehouse in Strasbourg. In those days, you would sell the photographic plates individually. The arrival of World War I made it impossible for the woman to approach Strasbourg to pick up the photograph so the lady gave it for lost. Two years later, she bought a film plaque in Frankfurt, more than 166 kilometers away, to take a picture of her newborn daughter. When he took the plaque to reveal, the technician discovered a double exposure, the portrait of the girl was superimposed on the photo of his own son. 5. The lost book

In 1973, actor Anthony Hopkins agreed to appear in “The Girl of Petrovka,” a film based on a novel by George Feifer. Unable to find a copy of the book in any bookstore in London, Hopkins was really surprised to find a copy on the bank of a train station.
