Those attending the 2022 Oscar Awards observed a minute of silence in solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

“We would like to ask for a moment of silence to show our support for the people of Ukraine who are suffering from invasion, conflict and prejudice within their borders,” said a message on the center screen of the Dolby Theater.

Likewise, people were invited to show their support in some way, especially with resources so that the affected families could have access to food, water and medical attention.

At the same time, several celebrities attended the gala with blue pins or bows to show their solidarity with the refugees.
