The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Breakdown

THE TIME HAS COME. The Mandalorian will return for Season 3 on March 1 (sorry, Book of Boba Fett doesn’t count) after a long hiatus of two years. Now, a brand-new trailer has just given us the greatest look we’ve yet seen at the next Mando and Baby Yoda adventure (aka, Din Djarin and Grogu).

The Season 3 teaser begins with Mando speaking to Grogu and explaining what it truly means to be a Mandalorian, as narrated by the titular character (Pedro Pascal). The action manages to reintroduce some beloved old characters while also teasing some new ones, and that speech fits in well with everything.

The fascinating new trailer and some of the most intriguing information are broken down here.

THE DYNAMIC DUO MAKES A RETURN.

Where their adventure began in Season 1, Nevarro welcomes Grogu and Mando back. They are then visited by Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), who appears to have received another promotion to his position as the planet’s leader based on his attire. Mando’s return to Nevarro is unknown, but it is most likely because he requires assistance. In relation to that…

6.DON PERSHING

Pershing (Omid Abtahi), who had a significant part in Season 1, hasn’t been seen much since, but he will return in The Mandalorian Season 3. Here, he is shown traveling in a robot cab on a planet that resembles Coruscant. Even while we don’t know what he’s up to, we presume it has to do with Snoke, cloning, and perhaps even Emperor Palpatine.

5 PAULO SUN-HYUNG LEE, No.

As the galactic highway patrol of the New Republic, the Kim’s Convenience star is back. He was detecting the First Order’s emergence when we last saw him. Before Gina Carano got herself fired and derailed that plan, Lee probably would have played a significant part in that anticipated Rangers of the New Republic spinoff.
If Lee returns, we’ll probably learn more about how the Empire’s surviving forces are assembling on the Outer Rim.

4. THE MANDALORIAN’S RETURN

Following the events of Season 2 of the Mandalorian, Mando visited his old tribe in a special episode of Boba Fett. Unfortunately, they fired him after he admitted that he had shown his face during a mission. According to this picture, it appears like Djarin threw away his helmet but later found it.

3. A FEWER JEDI?

What we’re looking at here is unclear to me: An Order 66 time travel? A fresh installment of the Star Wars saga?

In any case, this is the most number of lightsabers we have yet to see in The Mandalorian. Without including the Darksaber, which is essential to understanding Mandalorian history, it took two complete seasons to show viewers a typical lightsaber. Now that it seems like we might get a lot more, I can’t help but fear that by once again emphasizing the Jedi, it would take away from what makes the show so fantastic.

2.A DROID CANTINA?

Even I don’t know what to make of this, but I adore it. It appears like The Mandalorian Season 3 will transport us to what appears to be a cantina where all of the patrons are robots. This might be a good approach to develop the robots’ rights storyline that Solo started.

1. THE ASSEMBLED MANDALORIANS

It appears that Din Djarin’s original Mandalorian family will reunite in conflict for the first time since Season 1. It would be intriguing to see what their reappearance means for the future of the Mandalorian people given that we now know that they were essentially religious radicals.
