The trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is in a decisive stage. Last week the arguments ended and, this Tuesday, the deliberations of the jury will resume. But on Friday, during the exhibition of the actress’s lawyer, something extravagant was experienced.
“There seems to be an amber alert. The people who did not silence the phones are receiving it,” said Judge Penney Azcarate, after several alarms sounded at the same time in the middle of the hearing and whose origin was confusing.
What does the sound that was heard during the trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard mean?
The alert that went off on several phones in the courtroom had nothing to do with the trial taking place in the Fairfax courthouse.

According to what the Page Six medium specified, that notice was a warning of a storm in several areas of Virginia.
In the same way that these types of notices arrive on people’s phones, others such as the Amber alert also circulate and that is why the judge is confused.
What is an Amber Alert and when does it occur?
The Amber alert is a notice that immediately reaches the cell phones of the inhabitants of a town or city in the United States to notify them of a missing or kidnapped minor.
The notice is technically an acronym for America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER), which was created after the disappearance and murder of Amber Hagerman, a 9-year-old girl who was kidnapped and murdered in 1996.
After the irruption of the sound in the room, the networks were filled with comments. One of them pointed to how fictional reality seems to be.
“The fact that an AMBER alert keeps going off, interrupting the closure of Rottenborn is somehow poetic justice. The best director in Hollywood couldn’t have written this sh…,” one user wrote.
“How come the people in the room didn’t go crazy? This was too perfect,” another Twitter user added.
What do the defenses of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard say in their closing arguments?
During the moment of sounding the Amber alert, the one who was speaking was Amber Heard’s lawyer, Ben Rottenborn. The defender of the actress insisted that Depp is the culprit.
“If Amber was abused by Mr. Depp even once, then she wins. And we’re not just talking about physical abuse. Also of emotional, psychological, financial, sexual abuse, ”she listed.
On Depp’s side, in turn, they again denied that the actor was the aggressor in the couple. “Audio after audio was heard and she was the one who abused him,” one of Depp’s lawyers pointed out, giving the defense’s final testimony.
“We ask you to give Mr. Depp his life back, to tell the world that Mr. Depp is not the abuser that Miss Heard said he was, and to hold her accountable for her lies,” Camille Vasquez said.
The lawyer was forceful: “ The evidence shown in this trial has shown that Miss Heard is the abuser. She was violent, abusive, and cruel. ”
Depp claims $50 million for defamation from Amber Heard, based on an opinion piece he wrote in The Washington Post. The actress countersued him and asks for 100 million dollars.
