Sean Penn is in the middle of the war between Russia and Ukraine recording a documentary about the origin of the Russian invasion.
Kate del Castillo’s former partner was captured this Thursday, February 24, at a press conference given by the authorities in Kyiv, Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian government, Sean Penn was in the conflict zone recording a documentary, in fact, they stressed that the actor was showing “courage and honesty, characteristics that they say are missing among many Western politicians.”
