In May of this year, the American rapper Post Malone announced that he would become a father for the first time, the result of his relationship with a girlfriend who remains anonymous. This Monday, the artist announced that his baby had already been born and is a girl.

Malone dropped the news subtly during an interview with Howard Stern’s radio show, where while mentioning what time he woke up to go to the recording studio, he pointed out that he had kissed his daughter very early.

A surprised Stern asked if it was just his girlfriend’s baby, but the “Better Now” singer confirmed: “I had a daughter.” And then he clarified that there is a marriage in sight because he is now engaged to his partner, who remains anonymous.

To the  TMZ medium, Post Malone had already anticipated that he would be a father and also that he was in full happiness with his relationship, which he wanted to take care of as much as his health.

Post Malone, a promising year

Austin Richard Post, better known by his stage name Post Malone, began his career in 2016 when he released his first studio album, titled “Stoney”. It was a successful debut, as it managed to position itself among the four most heard projects in the US.

In 2018, his second album, “Beerbongs and Bentleys”, came out and repeated the same fortune as his first record work, only this time it reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200 chart.

For this album, in addition, Post Malone was nominated for four awards at the 2019 Grammys, including the categories for album of the year and song of the year. At the gala, he performed alongside the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

That year, he also released his third studio album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding”.

This 2022, Malone prepares the release of his fourth record project, entitled “Twelve Carat Toothache”, as well as a tour of the United States and Canada. A promising year for the 26-year-old artist.
