Tragedy on Netflix: 2 dead actors and 6 injured on a shoot

Two actors from the Netflix series The Chosen One have died in an accident during filming. Six other cast or production crew members have been injured. This happened after the truck they were traveling in crashed near Mulegé, on the Baja California Sur peninsula.

Local media have reported that the accident occurred last Thursday. They have explained that the van overturned after going off the road in a desert area. The Netflix cast had been working on the shoot hours before. They did it in the area near Santa Rosalía.

The Baja California Ministry of Culture reported on Friday that the following actors had died: Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar . As we have said, there are six other injured who are part of the Netflix production whose status is reserved.

Netflix had described The Chosen One series as follows. “A twelve-year-old boy learns that he is Jesus Christ, who has returned to Earth and is destined to save humanity,” the synopsis read. This new television series on the streaming platform was inspired by the comic book series by Mark Millar and Peter Gross.
