Pieces of Her: The date and the first photos of the new Netflix series with Toni Collette

After the successful experience of Unbelievable, Toni Collette returns to Netflix with an intense new TV series, Pieces of Her, based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Karin Slaughter titled in original Pieces of Her. The drama will debut in streaming on March 4th and Netflix has released the first photos you see below.

The plot of Pieces of Her

Written by Charlotte Stoudt ( Homeland ) and directed by Minkie Spiro ( Downton Abbey ), the 8-episode thriller explores the fallout of an act of violence that disrupts a sleepy Georgia town, as well as the bond between 30-year-old Andy Oliver ( Bella Heathcote ) and his mother Laura (Collette). Desperate to get answers, Andy sets out on a perilous journey across the United States, getting closer and closer to his family’s dark and hidden heart. In the first photos, we are presented with Andy and Laura immediately after the violent accident that sets the action in motion and that will bring to light the demons of Laura’s past.

The cast

In addition to Collette and Heathcote, Jessica Barden, Jacob Scipio, Joe Dempsie, Aaron Jeffery, Omari Hardwick, Gil Birmingham, David Wenham, Calum Worthy, Nicholas Burton, and Terry O’Quinn also star in the series. They flank Stoudt as executive producers Steve Hutensky, Casey Harver, Janice Williams, Lesli Linka Glatter, and Bruna Papandrea.
