‘MILF Manor’ ‘s Kelle Opens Up About That Shocking Twist: ‘An Experience I Will Forever Be Grateful For’

Kelle and her son Joey talk to PEOPLE about their appearance on MILF Manor, a new dating show on TLC, and why they continue to think that “you can’t put an age on your spirit, only your body.”
Something shocking has been revealed by Milf Manor that no one saw coming.

TLC premiered a new reality dating show on Sunday, following eight ladies looking for love. On that episode, the MILFs found out to their surprise that the men they will be dating include each other’s sons.

There’s Pola, a competitive 47-year-old fitness studio owner from Mexico now residing in Miami; Kelle, a vivacious 51-year-old “disco mommy” from Orange County; Charlene, a 44-year-old Jersey girl now living in Los Angeles; April Jayne, a 59-year-old fitness instructor and singer also from Los Angeles; and Shannan, a 50-year-old event planner who was once a B-Girl
Kelle and her son Joey spoke to PEOPLE exclusively about their experience, including any awkward situations they may have encountered.

People: Tell us about your experience working together on the set of the dating show.

For KELLE: “It was so much fun!” We got to bounce ideas off of each other, and Joey let me in on the people he admired and the others he believed were just playing the system. We became really close as a result of sharing stories about our dates. Living in the same house and even the same room as your adult son, completely cut off from the outside world, is a great way to strengthen your bond. Our late-night conversations of unadulterated joy have forged a friendship that will last a lifetime. I’m very glad we got to spend time together and will always remember this as a memorable occasion. For the first time, I saw Joey as more than just a boy; I saw him as a remarkable guy.
JOEY: That was an incredible adventure that I will never forget.
JOEY: It was the kind of thing that stays with you forever.

PEOPLE: What are you hoping to find in a partner at this stage of your life, Joey?

JOEY: It was important for me to meet someone from outside my usual dating pool who shares my quest for true love. Someone who is honest and open with me is what I’m seeking. Nobody irritates me more than a liar.

HUMANS: Kelle, what qualities do you desire in a life partner?

KELLE: I’m hoping to find someone that is secure in their own identity and has clear goals for their romantic relationships. Individual who is in harmony with themselves and who is full of gratitude and humility.
