First trailer and poster of the new Ms. Marvel series on Disney has been released
The first trailer and poster for the new Marvel Studios Ms. Marvel series, which will premiere on June 8 exclusively on Disney+, is now available. The new trailer shows a first look at the newest Super Hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as she tries to balance her high school life, her family, and her emerging superpowers.
Ms. Marvel is a new and original series featuring Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. Avid gamer and voracious fan-fiction writer, Kamala is a fan of Super Heroes and has an enormous imagination with them, especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. However, Kamala feels invisible both at home and at school, until she gains superpowers like the heroes she has always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?
Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan, also known as Ms. Marvel. Additionally, the cast includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
The episodes are directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Bisha K. Ali serve as executive producers. The series is co-executive produced by Sana Amanat and Trevor Waterson, and Bisha K. Ali is the lead writer.
