Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has openly talked about the VFX of the film ‘Shamshera’ during a recent interview. While praising YRF, Ranbir said that it has helped a lot in taking the film forward. Also, the film’s director Karan Malhotra disclosed that it took about 2.5 years to prepare the VFX of this film.
Says Ranbir, “Cinema as a medium has the potential to really take audiences into a whole new world. Today, with the help of technology and CG, you can really take that forward. I think YRF has really taken off. I have helped a lot in taking this film forward.”
Ranbir further adds, “Be it the budget or the action sequence, it has made ‘Shamshera’ a visual spectacle in every respect. Even when we were shooting for this film, I never imagined this scale. Now, when I see the final product, I am stunned. I am eagerly waiting for the audience to see this film and give it a lot of love.”
Karan Malhotra, Director, Shamshera said, “The entire team at YFX deserves applause. We have worked hard for over 2.5 years to bring the world of Shamshera in its original form.”
The story of ‘Shamshera’ is about a man who is a slave. From slave to leader and leader to legend for his tribe. He fights for the freedom and pride of his tribe. Produced by Aditya Chopra, this film is directed by Karan. The film will hit the theaters on July 22 in three languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles along with Ranbir.
