Angelina Jolie turns 47: the unpublished PHOTOS of her youth where she squanders natural beauty

Angelina Jolie was harassed by her body almost since she started her studies; However, she never gave up her dream of becoming a great actress.

Angelina Jolie is, without a doubt, one of the most acclaimed women in the entertainment world. From the beginning of her career, her talent and her beauty placed her at the top of Hollywood and led her to be part of the most coveted projects in the industry.

Born June 4, 1975, Angelina Jolie grew up in a family linked to the world of acting. Both her father, Jon Voight, and her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, were actors; while others of her relatives such as sisters and nieces dedicated themselves to music as singers and songwriters. Despite being in an artistic environment that encouraged her to follow her dreams, the young woman was constantly teased and joked about her appearance while she was in high school. “Angelina’s classmates made fun of her a lot because of her lips. In addition to her, they told her that she had broad shoulders and long legs,” Cis Rundl, a friend of Jolie’s mother, revealed to the Radar Online portal.

The constant criticism of her appearance generated strong insecurities in the actress, who not only developed an eating disorder but also caused serious problems in her mental health.

Angelina Jolie: the darkest stage of her life

Among the factors that led to the decline of her mental health was the separation of her parents in 1976. Both she and her siblings lived with their mother after the divorce and temporarily left California for New York.

Amid personal chaos, Angelina never let go of her desire to become an actress. She began participating in theater groups, enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Institute to train in theater arts, and later went on to seek stardom. Thus, her first major production took place in 1982, when she was part of “Lookin to Get Put “, which was followed by “Cyborg 2”. However, the teasing about her thinness, her full lips, and other physical characteristics did not leave her calm and led to the development of anorexia, insomnia and other addictions that she had to fight against for years of her life.

At that time, the young woman was in the darkest moment of her career. Excessive drug use and constant pressure from her environment led her to enter into toxic relationships and even, according to the E Online portal, she tried to take her own life.

From torture to stardom: How did Angelina Jolie recover?

To get out of the crude hole in which she found herself, the film director decided to also venture into modeling, where little by little she began to make a name for herself. She appeared in music videos like “Has anybody seen my baby” by the Rolling Stones and both her face and her talent began to be placed in the public eye.

As for her career in Hollywood, it began as such in the 1995 film “Hackers” and soon after became more serious with “Cornelia Wallace.” However, the films that brought her to stardom were “Girl, Interrupted”, where she shared credits with Winona Ryder, and “Tomb Raider”.

From that moment, Jolie’s success came in droves and it was in one of the great productions that she made where she met the one who would be one of the great loves of her life: Brad Pitt, who at that time was married to Jennifer Aniston. Although they are no longer together, during their relationship they adopted six children of different nationalities.

Today, at 47 years old, the actress has not only managed to leave behind the harsh experiences of her past, but she has also managed to remain current in the hearts of her audience.
