Samsung has been working on new features for its next-gen folding phones. In this way, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 can boast of having options, for the moment, exclusive, as a tool to protect their batteries.

Among all the functions that are installed in Samsung equipment, one of the most anticipated by users is battery protection, which will extend the life of the batteries in said equipment.

Although mobile devices arrive with powerful batteries that ensure many hours of autonomy, depending on the activity that is carried out. The constant use of the equipment during the day, for example, playing, video calling, chatting, calling, or even working, makes people use their phone, many times, connected to the charger.

It can be said that this element is the heart of the device and as such, it needs to take special care. For this reason, the South Korean firm launched the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy X Flip 3 with the option “Protect Battery” or Battery Protection.

As reported by Xataka Android, keeping the charge between 20 and 80% is the recommendation of industry experts to protect the battery of the equipment, regardless of whether it is a smartphone or any electronic device.

Due to this, the Asian company decided to implement this function in its new folding phones so that when activated, the maximum load is limited to 85%. Activating it is very simple and you just have to follow these steps:

  • Enter One UI settings
  • Click on “Battery”
  • Enter battery settings
  • Finally, activate Battery Protection.
